Happy Anniversary to Acts: Prayer That Can Change Your Church (PrecisionFaith Prayer Series) – Book 2. Yesterday, August 14, 2020, Acts was published. This week is its one-year anniversary.
In its first year, it has sold 471 copies in 3 countries. In the Kindle Unlimited (KU) program 7,379 pages have been read, which equivocates to 63 books if those pages were complete reads. Combining book sales and KU reads, 534 books have been placed in the hands of readers.
Prayerfully, those 534 people have learned how to pray for the things the early church said in their prayers. Hopefully they have shared what they have learned with others. Of course, the goal is that their churches have grown as a result, coming to understand the mission of the church as commissioned by Christ.
It is hard to conceive a church not thriving if it lifts up its leaders, prays for boldness to proclaim Christ, and asks for the Holy Spirit. A church that looks hard at its own sinfulness, praying for deliverance from self-destructive addictions, and goes out into the world to make disciples is going to grow.
I admit I am a little partial. But if you have not read the Amazon #1 Best-Seller, Acts: Prayer That Can Change Your Church, get a copy today! It is a great study on the way the early church prayed. Read it and then start praying for your church.
