True to the PrecisionFaith model, Christ Made Simple is not simply a daily devotional.
Part 1 provides four tools to help you trace your spiritual heritage. Knowing who you are and how you come to have the faith you have is important. When we come to Jesus, we don't come empty handed. We bring our luggage with us: upbringing, influences, and experiences. The tools in Part 1 can help you realize why you are who you are.
Part 2 is the Epiphany daily devotional. Once again, in PrecisionFaith fashion, the devotional includes preparation to spend time with God, scripture readings, daily thoughts, and reflection questions. You will learn fifty-four characteristics of Christ. As a follower of Jesus, those characteristics are yours also. You may be surprised by who the Bible says you are.
Christ Made Simple is saturated with Biblical references. It is so laden with scripture you could spend days conducting further study of God's Word. This is not your feel good story devotional with a nice little prayer at the end. This is a scripture based, who the Bible says Jesus is, and who you are, discovery designed to help you embrace your Christian identity.
Epiphany is Coming
If you follow the Christian year, Epiphany begins on January 6th. So, it's right around the corner. Anticipated availability for Christ Made Simple is the week after Christmas.
You don't have to follow the Christian seasons though. You can use the book anytime.
