7 Simple Ways to Transform Your Faith

Our actions are like seeds planted in the ground that can produce spiritual growth. What we do has the potential to create amazing results. When we are working to grow our faith, we don’t need huge steps. Sometimes, it is just the simple things that can make a difference. Here is seven easy ways to transform your faith.

  1. Post-It Notes: Scatter notes with Bible verses throughout your living space. Whether it's on your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, or bedroom wall, these visual cues will remind you of God’s love for you.
  2. Vision Board: Create a visualization board by placing images, quotes, and symbols that align with your faith goals. This images and references will help you focus on your goals every day.
  3. Utilize Downtime: Instead of idly waiting, make the most of downtime by dwelling on your favorite scripture. Using a Bible app can help further. Rather, than scrolling social media, scroll God’s media.
  4. Use Audio: Buy an audio book on faith. It can be a study or even the story of how faith informed someone’s life. Use your listening time to tune your mind to the things of God.
  5. Network: This one is so simple, we often overlook it. Choose to spend time with faith-friends. Merely being aware of who you surround yourself with can make a difference. Spend your time with people who reflect and discuss your faith values.
  6. Speak Your Faith: The more we talk about faith, the more we grow in faith. Notice how you grow even when you think you are helping someone else. The more you share, the more you will receive.
  7. Consistent Nurture: Consistently integrate faith messaging throughout your day. You do not have to immerse yourself in 90-minutes of study in order to grow spiritually. Merely dripping faith throughout your day can shape you.

As you explore these simple faith development methods, remember that consistency is key. Repetition is key. Whether you're reading a single verse or listening to a faith podcast, these methods will help you dwell on the things of God. And, the more we are centered on God, the more God is centered within us.
