Concerned your children do not know God? Worried that your loved ones are unprepared for the return of Christ? Here are 3 steps you must start immediately.

There seems to be a lot of talk that we are in the last days. Jesus is going to return one day. We don't know when but scriptures tell us he will.

You are prepared. You believe in Jesus Christ. You have repented of your sins. You strive each day to follow Jesus. You are ready for the return of Christ.

Your family on the other hand…well, that is a different story. You aren’t so sure about their salvation. You are worried about them. Your anxiety over the last days isn’t about you. Your concern about the return of Jesus is for the ones you love.

If you are concerned about the salvation of your loved ones, there are 3 steps you must begin immediately:

1. Pray for God to reveal himself to them.

Start by committing your loved ones to prayer. Ask God to reveal himself to them. Pray that God will make them aware of his great love for them.

2. Pray for God to give you the words to say.

Your second step is to ask God to give you the words to say to them. Paul writes, "Faith comes by hearing" (Romans 10:17). At some point somebody must tell them about salvation. You could wait for someone else to tell them. Or, you can tell them yourself. If you are truly worried about their salvation, don't leave it to someone else. You tell them. Ask God to give you the words to say.

3. Pray for God to compel you to say something.

The third step you need to take is to begin praying for God to compel you to speak to your loved ones. Ask God to give you the opportunity. When that time comes (and it will), tell them about your experience with God. There isn't a magic formula or some specific scripture you must memorize, just tell them about what God means to you.

Three simple steps to take for those you love, especially if you are concerned about their salvation.
